Project 4:
Art Gallery Email Blast

Problem
An art gallery that hosts numerous events each year needed a way to keep customers updated.
While the gallery maintains a website and Facebook page, not all of the customers were receiving event information.
My Approach
Customer Data Optimization:
Gathering user data that the gallery collected, I assembled an email list.
User Research:
In order to effectively communicate to the customers, it was first necessary for me to figure out the customers that attended the events in the past.
Empathy:
By assuming the identity of a gallery event customer, I formulated the following questions: What do I need to know about this event? What message will appeal to me and make me read about the event?
Actions
I created an email blast template for gallery events.
The template included the title of the event at the top, followed by the date and time.
The body of the template details the event and any other relevant information.
Images of the gallery event artwork are embedded in the template so that customers can see the type of artwork associated with the event.
The gallery contact info, name, and links are located at the bottom.
